Maureen Biggs

Maureen O’Neill Biggs is a seasoned behavioral health professional with nearly five decades of experience in the addiction and mental health treatment field. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), and a certified Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Specialist. Maureen’s career encompasses various level of care in addiction treatment—from detox and inpatient services to residential and outpatient programs. She has led the development and implementation of clinical protocols, curricula, and program structures, and has held key leadership roles in managing and enhancing treatment services. Her clinical expertise spans a wide range of populations, including women, adolescents, trauma survivors, and individuals with co-occurring mental health disorders. Maureen is known for her holistic and inclusive approach to care, integrating evidence-based practices with compassion and cultural sensitivity.
