Catherine is a Mental Health Counselor with a Master of Arts from Hofstra University. Prior to entering the behavioral health field, she worked as a private childcare provider and at a non profit organization supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. During her education, Catherine majored in psychology and minored in social work children and family studies. In her clinical work, she uses Motivational Interviewing, psychoeducation, relational therapy, DBT, and CBT to support clients in building self esteem and self acceptance. Through a person centered, holistic approach, Catherine helps clients identify core beliefs and develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, urban exploring, reading, listening to podcasts, and taking her dogs to the dog park.
