Sarah is a Mental Health Counselor and a graduate of Pace University’s Mental Health Counseling M.S. program. At Mountainside, Sarah pulls from various theoretical frameworks including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. To further guide clients through their recovery, Sarah emphasizes the importance of one’s relationship with themselves, encouraging practices of self-compassion, personal empowerment, and growth. She has experience working in acute psychiatric facilities and is proficient in navigating complex mental health crisis situations. In her free time, Sarah enjoys yoga, strength training, playing with her two rabbits, and conducting psychological research.
