Clinician 2, Adolescent Program Lead
Jessica Whaley is a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Licensed Social Worker, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. As Adolescent Program Lead at Mountainside, she brings a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to helping teens and adults navigate substance use, recovery, trauma, and major life transitions.
Jessica began working in the substance use field in 2017 and has supported clients across all levels of care. Licensed in New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut, she draws from evidence-based practices, including cognitive processing therapy, to meet each individual where they are and foster meaningful, lasting change. Her clinical style is collaborative, authentic, and grounded in human connection, with humor thoughtfully woven in when it supports the therapeutic process.
At Mountainside, Jessica is committed to creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered in their healing. She believes therapy is not about fixing someone, but about walking alongside them as they make sense of their experiences and move forward. Outside the therapy room, Jessica enjoys going to concerts, relaxing by the beach, and rollerblading.
