About the Scholarship
Remembering Christopher Revell
Christopher Revell was born and raised in Huntington, a regular kid who grew up loving baseball and continued playing as an adult with a local men’s team. He was a loving friend, partner and, most importantly, a devoted father to three children whom he loved more than anything. Chris was surrounded by family and friends who loved and cared deeply for him, but he struggled with drug use beginning in his teenage years. There were periods when he was doing well, but the pull of addiction kept bringing him back. In 2020, when his youngest child was just three months old, Chris lost his life to an overdose involving heroin, Xanax and fentanyl.
