Through a series of interactive sessions led by Mountainside experts, clients explore the Mind-Body-Spirit connection, learn stress reduction techniques and take a deeper look at their own vision of health and healing. This unique program complements the core Mountainside treatment program and provides valuable insights to participating individuals. Mountainside also has a certified personal trainer on staff as well as a complete gym/exercise room.

Acupuncture

In 2006 Mountainside was invited to China to tour many of the country's hospitals and chemical dependency centers. An impressive technique used throughout the country is the use of acupuncture to help minimize clients withdrawal symptoms and accelerate the detox process. It was quickly decided that this technique would greatly help the clients of Mountainside in a multitude of ways. Clients at Mountainside are offered acupuncture treatments by a leading professional to help with post-acute withdrawal symptoms and relaxation.
